The Magistia time line is divided into three sections: The Kyron Era, The Erida Era, and the Danielle Era each named after the one who ruled Magistia at the time
The Kyron Era
The origins of Magistia begin in a nearby kingdom known as Madora. Over it, reigned King Chyic with his rule of tyranny. The people were oppressed. Chyic had love for only one person, a young woman by the name of Areonna. His attempts to court her failed as she was already being courted someone by the name of Kyron.
Kyron was another noble of the kingdom, noble only by name. He had little to offer Areonna and still she found that far more appealing than marrying the tyrant king. Through some amount of trickery, Chyic managed to put Areonna in a position where she had to marry him or face exile.
She chose the latter and left with Kyron. They traveled until finding a place far from Madora. It's only inhabitant was a unicorn by the name of Magisto. Understanding the plight of Kyron and Areonna, he allowed them to have the land he inhabited and make a kingdom of their own where such tyranny did not exist. They accepted it gratefully and named their new home Magistia.
Soon, people began to migrate toward Magistia, exiles and outcasts from other places seeking sanctuary and all were accepted. A grand castle was built and many villages around it. On the day of their coronation as the first king and queen of Magistia, Kyron and Areonna were married.
They ruled together for many years until having their first and only child, a baby girl they named Erida. A few years after Erida's birth, Areonna became ill. She had pased by the next spring leaving Kyron to raise Erida on his own. As far as they knew, Madora had not yet discovered where Kyron had gone to. Unfortunately, Chyic knew exactly where to look.
No one is quite sure what became of Kyron...whether his death had been due to the grief of losing his wife or if there had been foul play. Erida became queen at the age of fifteen years old but Magistia's troubles had just begun.
