Common Sense

Technically, I shouldn't have to put this here. In a perfect internet, the only rule we would really need is "Don't be an ass". But alas, there is no perfect internet.

And because it isn't a perfect internet, we have rules. Not as many as we used to have but they are still there. Why do we need rules? Well their first reason is to keep order within the chat room. That way someone stupidly overpowered doesn't come along and kill your character without even blinking twice about it. No one likes to deal with that.

More important, however, is how the rules protect you. The rules of this community work both ways. They protect our precious rp. They protect you, the player, from an abusive moderator. They keep us from going power happy and that's something we can all appreciate.

So remember, The rules aren't just some way for Sam to be an evil tyrant. They're also a way to make sure she isn't an oppresive evil tyrant. Enjoy! And read the rules!!
